Hello to all,
How about this challenge? Anita decided that I was spending too much time stamping and wanted her picture made with the card. While I'm taking the pics to post here, she jumps up and places herself behind the card. So, here's Anita. Her challenge? Guess, she wants you to play along too. Or she wants a treat.
Anyways, here is a close up of the card. This was to play along with two different challenges over at Splitcoaststampers. The first is a sketch challege (SC250) and the second is the colors (CC240). The card is made with Chocolate Chip Textured cardstock, Bermuda Bay Textured Cardstock and So Saffron Designer Series Paper (retired). For the sketch, I reduced the size to a 3 x 3" card. I love the simplicity and ease of making a note card.
The base is 3 x 6" Chocolate Chip Textured and is scored at 3". The Bermuda Bay layer is 2 1/2 x 2 1/2". The So Saffron Designer Paper is 2 1/4 x 2 1/4" The Chocolate Chip squares are punched out with the 3/4" Square Punch (retired). I used the Boho Blossom Punch for the center flowers. To add some bling, I added the Square Fire Rhinestones Brads in the yellow color. The little squares are then popped up on Stampin' Dimesionals.
This card also will go under my Pony Express cards. These cards can be made from start to finish within 15 minutes. And a great way to use up those scraps of Designer Paper that you just hate to get rid of.
So have some fun and make several of these cards to have on hand to give out. Oh, and don't forget the kitty treats. :)
Don't forget about my special this week along with the Deal of the Week 2. I will send you a $10.00 rebate check when you purchase a Big Shot Die-Cut Machine from me. Be sure to visit my website and place your order for the Big Shot, Deals of the Week 2 and any other of our Stampin' Up! products.
Have a sweet day.
Pamela
Tidbit of Info:
The Boho Bermuda Bay flower has a touch of Snail Adhesive on back to hold it to the square base. The Paper-Piercing Tool and foam mat from the Mat Pack helped make the hole in the center to put the brad through. I snipped part of the ends of the brads with a small pair of wire cutters. That way the ends don't peek out from the square. The Stampin' Dimensional then covers the ends and pops up the square to stand out from the card.
